On 19 October 2024, Zambor Organization extended its outreach to the internally displaced people (IDPs) at Lac Kivu camp in Goma, North Kivu. These families, victims of the M23 conflict, were in desperate need of assistance.
We were able to provide essential support to 260 women, 107 men, and 320 children through donations distributed on-site. The community's heartfelt plea was for clean water, shelter, food, healthcare, sanitation, and a place of worship. Zambor covered 40% of these needs and is hopeful that our partners will join us in alleviating the severe poverty and hardships faced by these individuals.
Zambor’s feeding program in Goma, DRC, is making a vital impact by providing nutritious meals to vulnerable children affected by conflict, poverty and wars. Our team works on the ground to deliver meals to children who often face food insecurity due to the region's instability.
